The 1813 Orchestra

A crossroads of lives and stories, of correspondences and affinities that only the vagaries of History can create: Napoloen is resoundingly defeated in Leipzig, while Rossini’s Tancredi and L’italiana in Algeri in are staged in Venice.

Kierkegaard, Verdi, Wagner are born and, on the Como Lake shores, Teatro Sociale raises the curtains at last. Two hundred years later, a new orchestra is born, between Milan and Como, promoted and supported by AsLiCo. A young, flexible and adaptable orchestra who participates with talent and enthusiasm in the AsLiCo projects: from the Opera domani tournées to the regular summer event 200.Com, during the Festival Como Città della Musica.
